Not all substrates are optimal for using in HP Indigo digital presses, however, many users for that digital presses need to be able to print on such substrates in order to meet certain printing requirements. In such cases, these substrates need a corona treatment coating on their surface so that HP Electroink ink can adhere properly.
The JORG ILP.330 corona treatment online connection module allows us exactly that, and is the ideal complement to ensure that various substrates (paper, cardboard, PE, PET, etc.) can be used for printing with HP Indigo digital presses.
Moreover, more extra benefits are achieved such as saving up to 0.30 euros / m2 by this method, printing on time, internal control that assure 100% of the process, there is no lack of production due to waste substrate, and modular integration towards the existing printing process workflow.
This module can be easily connected between the unwinder and the main printing unit from HP Indigo, for any Hp Indigo WS4XX0 and WS6X00 press.
The module operates under a microprocessor control and it is monitored by the control panel and runs completely offline from the HP Indigo press
You can choose to add an optional corona treatment system, such as the Vetaphone A / S, a leading manufacturer for corona and plasma treatment solutions, or continue with the use of Michelman Digiprime and Emicote 2/3 solutions.
If you decide to replace your existing press, for example, from an HP Indigo WS4500 digital press to HP Indigo WS6800 digital press, the Jorg ILP.330 online module can be integrated into the new HP Indigo digital press.
The Jorg ILP.330 module complies with all existing safety regulations and is built with high quality components.
